NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OPEN TO TEXAS RESIDENTS, 18+ ONLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ENDS 12/25/24.

1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. The H-E-B Red Bag Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins November 6, 2024, at 12:00:01 p.m. Central Time (“CT”) and ends on December 25, 2024, at 11:59:59 p.m. CT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes Period will be separated into weekly entry periods (each an “Entry Period”) as follows:

2. HOW TO ENTER. To enter, entrants must: (a) visit www.HEB.com/RedBag; (b) complete the entry form by submitting their name, valid email address, phone number, and zip code (each an “Entry”; collectively, “Entries”). Entries must be received no earlier than the Start Date and no later than the End Date for a given Entry Period to be eligible for that Entry Period, and are only valid for the Entry Period in which they are received. All entries must be received by December 25, 2024, at 11:59:59 p.m. CT.  Limit one (1) Entry per person per Entry Period.

 

3. ELIGIBILITY. To participate in the Sweepstakes, entrants must be legal residents of the State of Texas, and be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of Entry. This Sweepstakes is void outside the State of Texas and where prohibited by law.  This Sweepstakes and any website pages, advertisements, and in-store documents or signage relating thereto are intended for viewing only within the State of Texas. H-E-B and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, distributors, suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”); each of their respective employees, officers, directors, and agents; and the immediate family (parent/child, grandparent/grandchild, sibling, or spouse) and household members (whether related or not) of each such individual are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

 

4. FOR ALL ENTRIES. Entries must be personally executed or submitted by entrants; use of script, macro-automated entry devices, or programs to enter or subvert the Entry process is prohibited, and all such Entries will be void. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, delayed, undelivered, garbled, or inaccurate Entries, all of which will be void.

 

5. Prizes. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all prizes is $62,922.00.

 

• • • Grand Prize (Seven (7) available): The Grand Prize winner for each Entry Period will receive the applicable prize package below.

   

  • • Entry Period 1: Grand Prize winner will receive an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; a $500 H-E-B Gift Card; and the following Kitchen & Table by H-E-B^TM brand items: 8 qt. air fryer, 5.3 qt. rice cooker & food steamer, 12 piece glass food storage set, 10 qt. slow cooker, 14 cup coffee maker, 10 speed hand mixer, double rotating waffle maker, electric chopper, cast iron bake dish, cast iron braiser, cast iron Dutch oven, cast iron skillet, 15 piece cookware set, and smokeless grill. Entry Period 1 Grand Prize ARV: $1,438.00.

   

  • • Entry Period 2: Grand Prize winner will receive an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; a $500 H-E-B Gift Card; and a $500 Tecovas® Gift Card. Entry Period 2 Grand Prize ARV: $1,565.00.

   

  • • Entry Period 3: Grand Prize winner will receive an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; a $500 H-E-B Gift Card; a $500 Jon Hart® Gift Card; and a voucher for one (1) night stay at Hotel ZaZa® Houston Memorial City. Entry Period 3 Grand Prize ARV: $1,315.00.

   

  • • Entry Period 4: Grand Prize winner will receive an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; a $500 H-E-B Gift Card; and a $1,000 Southwest® Airlines Gift Card. Entry Period 4 Grand Prize ARV: $1,565.00.

   

  • • Entry Period 5: Grand Prize winner will receive an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; a $500 H-E-B Gift Card; a $250 James Avery® Gift Card; and a Consuela® tote bag, wristlet, and mini grab & go bag set. Entry Period 5 Grand Prize ARV: $1,115.00.

   

  • • Entry Period 6: Grand Prize winner will receive an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; a $500 H-E-B Gift Card; and a voucher for a two (2) night stay at Hotel Havana in San Antonio, Texas with a hotel food and beverage credit of $100 (alcohol excluded). Entry Period 6 Grand Prize ARV: $1,565.00.

   

  • • Entry Period 7: Grand Prize winner will receive H-E-B pajamas, an H-E-B holiday sweater; an H-E-B tortilla blanket; an H-E-B holiday lawn inflatable, and a $1,500 in H-E-B Gift Cards. Entry Period 5 Grand Prize ARV: $1,675.00.

   

  • • First Prize (One hundred, seventy-five (175) available): Twenty-five (25) First Prize winners during each Entry Period will receive a $100 H-E-B Gift Card.

   

  • • Second Prize (Seven hundred (700) available): One hundred (100) Second Prize winners during each Entry Period will receive a $50 H-E-B Gift Card.

   

6. PRIZE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS. Gift Card amounts above may be issued in more than one Gift Card at issuer’s sole discretion. Except as set forth herein, prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Winner may not use or redeem any Gift Card value for cash, cash substitutes (wires, money transfers, bill pay services, gift cards whether issued by Sponsor or by other merchants or services, or similar), for the purchase of alcohol or tobacco, or for any purchase in a manner prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible if any issued Gift Cards are lost, stolen, damaged, and/or destroyed. Unless otherwise prohibited, any Gift Card awarded is subject to the prevailing terms and conditions for the applicable card type at the time of issuance, which may include dormancy fees, expiration dates, restrictions, or prohibitions on the use of a Gift Card for specific products or services (including curbside and/or delivery), or on the use of a Gift Card at specific stores or with specific companies. Travel voucher/gift card prizes do not include transportation or accommodations unless specified above; all other travel expenses are responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor is not responsible for inability of a winner to accept or use any prize, and prize may be forfeited in whole or in part if a winner declines, or cannot accept or use, a prize, any part of prize, or any remaining portion of the prize.

 

7. TAXES AND RELATED CONDITIONS. Winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes (including federal, state, local, income, use, and sales taxes), tax effects, and tax reporting associated with prize income, use of a Gift Card or Prize Cards, or purchase of groceries. To the extent permissible or required by law, Sponsor may withhold or deduct from Gift Card or Prize Cards value any applicable income tax withholding or sales taxes. Sponsor reserves the right to issue tax documentation to any applicable taxing authorities in such manner and at such time as may be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for changes in applicable tax law or regulation and will not revise prize award terms due to changes in law or regulation except in its sole discretion.

 

8. WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS. Drawings will take place on or about the day following each End Date listed in Section 1 above in San Antonio, Texas. Each potential winner will be selected in a random drawing by Sponsor from among all eligible Entries received by Sponsor during the applicable Entry Period. Potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received by Sponsor during the relevant Entry Period. Potential winners will be notified by email or phone provided in their Entry. If contact is not confirmed with a potential winner after the attempt(s) or time deemed reasonable by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected in the same manner. Sponsor is not required to attempt notification for a given potential winner more than once or to wait for a potential winner to respond to a message. Potential winners may be required to complete and sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and a publicity release within fourteen (14) days of prize notification, or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Issuance of initial Gift Card or Prize Cards may take four (4) to six (6) weeks to fulfill. Any unclaimed prize will be forfeited to Sponsor.

 

9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. By participating, entrants agree to (i) abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes and (ii) to RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, and assigns, and all other Sweepstakes Entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) against any and all claims and liability, including injuries, losses or damage of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, use, misuse, or redemption of a prize or participation in this Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for any errors, problems or malfunctions of any kind whether caused by computer, network, technical, mechanical, printing, typographical, seeding or human error, or otherwise, relating to or in connection with this Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors, problems, or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of Entries, the announcement of a prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes.

 

10. PUBLICITY.Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes and acceptance of any prize each constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment, consideration, or approval. This grant is perpetual in duration and not subject to any condition precedent such as prior approval of promotional materials. Winner further agrees to confirm this consent and grant in writing or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

 

11. SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS. This Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations (collectively “Rules and Laws”). Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person; and all associated Entries will be void. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DAMAGE ANY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM RELATED TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, AND TO NOTIFY LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES WHO MAY PURSUE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing this Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof), or if the administration, integrity, fairness, proper play, and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, technical difficulties, or any event or cause (each a “Force Majeure” event), Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes without notice or further obligation. In the event Sweepstakes is cancelled, Sponsor reserves the right, but shall have no obligation, to award prizes from among all non-suspect eligible Entries up to the time of such Force Majeure event.

 

12. DISPUTES. Each entrant agrees that (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the prizes or the use thereof shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas and (ii) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees. THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION FOR ANY DISPUTE FOR GIFT CARDS PROVIDED BY SOUTHWEST AIRLINES OR THE USE THEREOF SHALL BE IN THE FEDERAL OR STATE COURTS LOCATED IN DALLAS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION FOR DISPUTES RELATING TO ANY OTHER PRIZES OR THE USE THEREOF, OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, SHALL BE IN THE FEDERAL OR STATE COURTS LOCATED IN BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS.

 

13. USE OF INFORMATION. Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (available at www.HEB.com/Privacy). All entrants authorize Sponsor to contact them for any reason related to conducting the Sweepstakes.

 

14. WINNER LIST. To obtain the name of the winner and prize received, send a self-addressed stamped envelope by February 1, 2025 to: H-E-B Red Bag Sweepstakes Winner List, Attn: Marketing & Advertising Department, 646 South Flores Street North 1, San Antonio, Texas 78204.
